Earlier this year I read Decisive by Chip and Dan Heath. At the time I thought, That’s the best, most practical business book I’ve read in a while. The problem is, I forgot a lot of it quickly.
So I’m really glad that I came across Dan Pink’s Office Hours interview with the Heath brothers talking about this book. It’s a great summary of the WRAP decision-making framework with a nice application to starting a new business.
I love listening to Dan’s interviews because he’s so enthusiastic about other authors’ research and ideas; you can’t help but get fired up to read or reread the book he’s discussing. Unlike many interviewers, Dan has clearly read and thought through each book. He asks smart questions that stretch the authors while effectively summarizing key points for those new to the work. Plus he consistently gets the best guests.
